AVA-202 ...what it takes to touch heavens.


 

Pilot training , parcel carrying , surveillance and recreational activities are the basic ideas for AVA-202 , a light two-seat airplane.

   It meets certification requirements of JAR-VLA in normal category, featuring all-metal airframe of aluminum alloy with single spar wing and glassfibre engine cowlings. State-of-the-art forward sliding canopy of Plexiglas provides maximum rearward view.   

The planned engine is Textron Lycoming O-320-B2B  (160hp) , driving a Sensenich two-blade fixed-pitch metal propeller. Engine jet pipe deflected to carry exhaust clear of body. There are two integral fuel tanks in wings with a total capacity of 120 liters. Other features are:

 

Heated and ventilated cabin
Easy Access baggage compartment
Dual flight control system and metal instrument panel.
Single-slotted electrical flaps.
Accommodation: Two seat side by side
Systems: 12V electrical system
Avionics: Bendix/King KX 125 VHF nav/com radio with   ELT plus
Instrumentation: ADF and GPS at customer' request
Landing gear: Fixed with cantilever spring nose wheel and hydraulically actuated disk brakes, castor nose wheel with shimmy damper and streamline composite fairing over all three wheels.
