Kish Air
In the year 1989, Kish Air has been initially
formed by the authorities of Kish Island to promote the
tourism industry and to expand business activities in the free
zone island of Kish. This company is offering the flight
services domestically and internationally since 1990. It is
mainly owned by the Kish Free Zone Organization (70%), Kish
Fish Company (20%) and Kish Services Company (10%)[7]. In
1990, Kish Air complies with the requirements to obtain Air
Operator Certificate (AOC) so that became the first private
Iranian airlines to reach this goal. In the year 2002, this
company started to use newly-bought four Fokker-50 used
aircraft for flights in the Kish-Dubai and Kish-Bahrain routes
to the neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf
