Mahan Air
In the year 1993, Mahan Air was established by Charity
Foundation of Mol-al-Movahedin based in Kerman Province. A
year later, Mahan Air started its services using two Tu-154M
aircraft for regional, domestic and charter flights. The
airlines also used two IL-76 cargo aircraft for few years
after 1996. In the year 2001, this company joined IATA as the
third largest airlines in Iran after Iran Air (including Iran
Air Tours) and Aseman. Some of the main destinations of its
fleet are Bangkok, Dubai, Muscat, Colombo, Damascus,
Dusseldorf and Kabul
